Subject:          Your comments for the Trial Mix test report dated on 27-10-15 and our submittal reference CC/AP/269/03/47A

Dear Sir,

With reference to the above, we would like to inform you about the slump observed and your concern for compliance with approved design from DM. Kindly note the following:

  1. For your kind information we are followed DM circular for green concrete for mix design and the approved drawing concrete mix is not acceptable by DM as per the circular and current regulation.
  2. The mix design approved and provided by the concrete supplier is as per the DM circular not to as per approved drawing but the design strength is followed from approved drawing.
  3. We are submitting the approved concrete supplier communication ref: AAC/OL/549/10/15 which is self-explanatory. The reason stated for the slump and the impact in slump by adding GGBS, therefore, it is so obvious that the slump will vary according to the concrete ingredient and mix design.
  4. We are attaching all relevant documents herewith for your reference and review.

Furthermore, the GGBS mixes at low workability ranges are extremely difficult to pour and place at site due to the sticky nature of GGBS mixes.

So, kindly review your comment for the Green Concrete requirements and impact due to the same concrete parameter accordingly.

Regards,

For xxx Contracting L.L.C
