Shopping Policy
This Shopping Policy outlines the requirements and guidelines for using Google Shopping ads and free product listings on EngineersBlog.net. By using our Shopping feeds, you agree to comply with Google’s Shopping policies as described below.
Digital Products & Nature of Goods
All products sold on EngineersBlog.net are digital downloadable goods — professionally authored PDF guides, Excel templates, MS Project files, and construction management manuals. Upon successful payment, the customer receives a file they own and keep (a tangible digital deliverable), not a service, labor, consultation, or appointment. There is no physical shipment; delivery is instant via secure download.
Examples of our digital goods include: construction method statements, HSE and safety manuals, delay/extension-of-time analysis guides, cost-loaded project programmes, quality control forms, and technical reference handbooks. Each is a self-contained document or template the buyer owns after purchase.
Sale of Services — Policy Determination
Our listings are not a promotion of labor, time, effort, expertise, or actions that do not result in ownership of a product. In accordance with Google’s Unsupported Shopping content policy, our offers are digital products that transfer ownership of a downloadable file to the buyer. Where a product title references “training”, “preparation”, or “guide”, it describes the subject matter of the document the customer purchases and owns — not a training service, class, or consultation. All products are mapped to the Google product category “Software > Digital Goods & Currency”.
Each product includes the required Shopping attributes: a brand, price, availability, product image, and a correctly assigned Google product category. Products without a manufacturer barcode use identifier_exists = false, which is permitted under Google’s policy for legitimately unbarcoded digital goods.
