Dear Sir,

With reference to above, we are hereby informing you that in our scope from DEWA approved load schedule, the lift should have 300mA ELCB and the cost of per component is around 100 AED per lift. Whereas, for the lift subcontractor, they require RCCB Type-B 4 pole 63A 300 ma item and henceforth, they submitted an invoice of 3,410.00 AED for RCCB which they have supplied for the Service Lift.

Furthermore, they are asking two more RCCBs’ for Passenger Lift 1 and Passenger Lift 2 to commission the lift and they are sending a reminder for the same. So, we are informing that supply of RCCBs’ is not part of our contract and it must be provided by the client as this component is not in our scope.

So, we will issue a negative variation for 3NOS of RCCBs’ and kindly approve the variation for Schindler for the specific component or can be supplied by your office. This is for your kind information that Main Contractor should not be responsible for delay of the lift and kindly advice.
