Dear Sir,

Reference to the above-mentioned subject and Project, Kindly be informed that we are expecting some delays on project schedule due to current local and international lockdown. Please note the following:

1. working hours has reduced at site as per Dubai Municipality and Dubai Police instruction.
2. Due to the seating restrictions and guidelines of distancing by the DM and DED. We have to make multiple trips to reach the site, the last trip reaching by 9:00am and needs to leave site early.
3. The rate of productivity has been slowed down due to the social distancing regulations (some of the tasks require double the time)
4. Materials suppliers are either closed or not able to deliver materials, moreover price of regular consumable materials has increased as supply chain has impacted due to local and international movement restriction.

Therefore, the Contractor notifies the Engineer, under Clause 44.1 of the General Condition of Contract, of his intension to claim for an extension of time for completion of the works may arise out of Force’s Majeure.
