Subject: Main Contractor’s Instruction – Tower 2 and 3 Heat Detector provision.
Dear Sir,
We refer to your letter ref: xxx dated xxx and clarify as follows:
The heat detector provisions were not provided in the pods delivered to Tower-2 Apartments 2, 4, 7 & 8 and Tower-3 Apartment 8 (expect in pods 203, 220 & 321) as it was not shown in the approved drawings attached herewith for your reference (Appendix 1).
We remind you that all the pods were produced as per the approved drawings only and were inspected and approved by xxx representative and the Consultant at the factory prior to delivery.
In addition to that, we haven’t received any request to incorporate the provisions for the heat detector in the above mentioned apartments throughout the project production and delivery cycle at any point.
Any additional work required at site should be done by xxx and isn’t under any circumstances Unipods responsibility.
Should you require us to do the work on your behalf, such works then will be subject to the approval of additional cost prior to starting the works on site.
