We refer to your email dated 17^th August xxx addressed to Mr. xxx (copy attached) wherein you have instructed Xxx(Name of the Subcontractor) Interiors to submit shop drawings for the extended portion of the marble including termination.

Please be informed that your instruction as mentioned above constitute a variation to the contract, hence, this letter will serve as our Notice of Claim for additional cost, all the relevant details will be forwarded to you in due course.
