Subject : Response to Notice of QHSE Violation
Dear Sir,
We are in receipt of your letter ref: xxx dated 12 September xxx and would like to clarify you the following:
We thank you for your observation as we take HSE extremely seriously. Please note that our workers are working within the closed boundaries of our pods as shown in your attached pictures, which we consider an isolated and safe environment. Nevertheless, we have ensured that all our workers on your site have received the safety induction as per your notice, and will have their PPEs on at all times as per your guidance.
We also kindly request that the Contractor’s HSE J-259 team’s deny entry to site to any worker who has not received your mandatory QHSE induction if this is a pre-requisite to entry.
With regards to your statement that there is no competent site supervisory staff assigned to your project, please note that we disagree with your statement on the following grounds.
The supervisor who has been assigned to your project has extensive experience on the Port de la Mer development as he has successfully completed both phase 1 and phase 2 and is very well suited to deliver the similar phase 4.
This supervisor also managed the mockup installation and will be supported by a new supervisor who now also jointed. Both these supervisors have been working with M/s xxx (Contractor Name) for more than 6 years and have successfully completed large projects for reputable clients such as Emaar and Meraas.
We are at your full disposal to improve any area you deem necessary including in terms of Safety, and we urge you to approach the undersigned directly so that we can offer our support and avoid lengthy correspondence.
Yours faithfully,
On behalf of M/s xxx (Contractor Name) LLC
