Subject:                 Design Changes; Update on progress

Dear Mr. xxx,

We refer to our letter Ref: xxx dated 20^th October xxxx and the Minutes of Meeting dated 22^nd October xxxx.  Please see below an update on the progress.

1. Change in Door Structural Opening
2. Revised Shop Drawings
   1. Our team started modifying all drawings for C1 and it will be resubmitted by the end of next week.
   1. Based on your request, we will not wait for an approval on the revised drawings, and we shall resume production as fast as possible, however, please note that reissuing the fabrication drawings, modifying the molds, reprogramming the wall machine, etc. will take about five days.

• Modification of pods under production
  • We shall follow the instruction given during the meeting.
  • We have 133 slabs casted to be modified, and we have 35 erected pods to be modified.
  • Our commercial department shall send you the details and related cost variation.
  • In the meantime, the modification will start immediately.

• Types 20, 21AL and 23
• The tiling layout will have to be revised as these types have a full tile starting from the structural opening.  Accordingly, a change in the door size will cause a change in the tile alignment (as EMAAR will never accept a cut tile of 25 mm).
• As agreed in the meeting, the shop drawings will have to undergo full review and revision.  We shall resubmit it to you by the end of next week. In the meantime, obviously, the production of these three types will be fully on hold.

• Revised electrical GI Box switch locations
• We shall follow the locations as per the drawings received on 21^st October xxxx and reconfirmed during yesterday’s meeting.
• Our team started modifying all drawings for C1 and it will be resubmitted by the end of next week.
• We have 35 erected pods to be modified.
• Our commercial department shall send you the details and related cost variation.
• In the meantime, the modification will start immediately.

• Maid’s Bathroom Washbasin size
• Xxxx is waiting for your confirmation in order to reply to RFI No. C1-C2 /UNP/A/RF I/050.
• Please note that production is impossible to start unless this issue is clear because it has impact on the molds, walls, wall structure, etc.

• C2 drawings, approval and start of production
• All C2 drawings are submitted, however, all of it has to be revised to reflect the above design changes.
• Our team shall do its best efforts to revise these drawings and resubmit them within one week from completing C1.

• Vanity Color
• We have received instructions on the vanity color yesterday, the 22^nd of October xxxx.
• Our team is reviewing your instructions with the concerned supplier and we shall do our best to get the paint delivered within 48 hours.
• Upon receiving the paint, the cabinet manufacturing can resume.
• Please note that the cabinet is installed on/around the 10^th day in the production cycle, which means we will need 4-5 days after the cabinet to be able to complete the pods and ship it (as the basin, top, back splash, MEP of basin, mixers, mirror, etc. etc. are all installed after the cabinet).
