Subject: Your comment for our submittal CC/AP/269/SH/CIV/ID/012 dated 15.03.17- shop drawing for 2nd floor unit-5 vanity counters fixing details and delay in the nomination of the vanity counter.
Dear Sir,
With reference to the above, we would like to intimate you about your requirement of 175kg support strength and kindly note our concern and risk involved:
- We tested the support only upto 120kg and this is the new comment as well as new requirement, and it needs MS framing and structural design which is not part of our scope to design and fabricate for extra ordinary requirement.
- The client should nominate the vanity counter subcontractor and they should design not only the support but counter also by considering the following:
- If the reaction point of point load of 175kg around the wash basin edges will sustained with this reaction and there will not be failure around the perimeter of wash basin .
- The wash basin counter material which will be approved after nomination of the subcontractor and design approval ,the thickness of the material will take this point load. Because we tested 120kg test weight on the supports at full piece of ply wood, this is not the confirmation of the safety of counter and wash basin( chances of the radial fracture around the wash basin).
- Because of the heavy MS Frame needs to be designed for required load , it may be the section thickness or size wil not be covered in our wall thickness .We will check with M/s Gypsemna and request them if they can provide the design.
So, kindly we are requesting you to nominate vanity counter supplier to confirm all and to design and as we tested already with 120kg weight and our toilet work under hold not only mock up room but other areas also, it will also delay our partition work.
