1.0     Scope :

            To describe the method of flushing, Disinfecting and chlorination of domestic water

System as per specification Section 15400 Clause 3.07.

2.0     Material :

• Copper pipes.
  • PR PVC pipes.
  • Pex pipes.
  • Valves fixed in the system
  • U/G and overhead water tanks.
  • Other associated materials.

3.0     Applicable locations and Description :

• E1, E2, E3, W1, W2 & W3 Towers, East & West Podiums and Villas.
  • Water supply line (Main)
  • Water distribution line (Branches).
  • Water service lines (Supply to fixtures)

4.0     Method :  Refer enclosed details.

• Safety

• Warning sign boards shall be displayed near all faucets outlets which are accessible to public during chlorination and pressure testing.

• Workers shall use protective hand gloves, masks and PPE as required.

• Sodium Hypochlorite (Liquid chlorine) shall be stored in shaded area.

• Care must be taken while opening the container lid.
