Subject            :  Absence of Wild Air

Dear Sir,

Further to our contract and completed works for the above referred project, we would like to raise our deep concerns regarding the continuous absence of Wild Air or controlled environment on the project which will have an impact on our installed joinery and will subject our installed works for damages such as veneer peeling, warping, distortion, bending, twisting and distortion of frames, etc., especially with the current high temperature.

Please be informed that it is a common construction practice that prior to the installation of joinery works, it is a must that the building should be properly sealed with Wild Air running in order to avoid any damages to Joinery works, gypsum ceiling and painting. Moreover, as the Subcontractor has been instructed by the Contractor to install the joinery works despite the absence of a controlled environment, the Subcontractor complied, however, any damages that will occur on our installed joinery works will be the responsibility of the Contractor.

In view of the above, the Subcontractor reserves its right to claim for additional cost for any rectification that will be required for any damages due to the aforementioned reasons, as the responsibility of providing the Wild Air is not under the Subcontractor’s control.

This is for your information and necessary action.

Kind Regards,

For xxx Interiors LLC
