METHOD OF STATEMENT FOR WATER TANK INSTALLATION

1.       Summary:    This section includes the following:-

1. Approve Materials:

3. Compaction
4. Lean Concrete
5. Backfilling

2.       Approved Material:

1. Underground Fiber Glass Water Tank (Capacity 13,000 Lts)
2. 4.51m x 2.00m
3. 2.44m x 3.12m
4. 2.44m x 3.12m
5. 2.44m x 3.12m

1. Sandfilling Material

3.       Excavation:            Excavate the area as per the approved location and

size refer to transmittal for attached

4.       Cleaning:               Clean the area properly

5.        Lean concrete:       100 mm plain concrete casting.

6.       Backfilling:           Backfill the area with 100mm sand bedding on the

top of the lean concrete up to the water Tank bottom level and water compact the area properly level below before the water tank placement.

7.       Installation:            Placement of the water tank to the specified level,

Water tank installation should be as per the level after the installation check the level and installation.

8.       Backfilling of sand by layer around water tank up to the specified           level.

9.       Compaction will be done by spraying water till saturated.

10.     Check the exact location and level of the water Tank.
