Regarding the requirement of the beam in lift no.02 in your drawing and Issue of the design and calculation

Subject           : Regarding the requirement of the beam in lift no.02 in your drawing and

                        Issue of the design and calculation.

Dear Sir,

With reference to the above mentioned subject, we are hereby intimating you that first of all, the steel beam is not part of main contractor scope as explained in our previous mail dated 23.11.2017 hence kindly note the following:

1. The design of the beam including the design of connection by considering the forces and loading for the lift is total responsibility for the lift contractor/lift manufacturer’s scope.
2. If you need this to be fixed by the main contractor, we will ask the variation  from client subject to that Schindler must provide the design and calculation for the same. Since we are not authorized or incompetent for this scope.

Your immediate action in this regard to own the total responsibility for the scope and resolve it immediately.
