Subject:               Regarding existing shoring executed by xxx drawing section 7 and xxx approved drawing section 5A/ 501

Dear Sir,

With reference to above and as per our previous communication for the shoring  work executed by SS Lootah @ level -3.5m level at north side near existing building  and that was not executed  @ +0.00 level as per our approved drawing section by DM. Here with attached the SS Lootah drawing that they are executed as drawing section 7-7 that show -3.5m level of copping beam executed.

Kindly note the following:

  1. As we requested for the block work to resume the water proofing work and your reply was “Variation not instructed”. So we are presenting the section from approved drawing as per Bldg. Permit 241570-15-3 and  SS Lootah Bldg. Permit 241570-11 which is issue  and this mean  it is self – explanatory that SS Lootah changed their mythology and designed approved by Dubai Municipality was not same as approved drawing for our reason.
  • So, these are the variation for the block work and we cannot execute for water proofing without block at north side elevation above copping beam and since our steel reinforcement will be extended beyond that existing height of the coping beam. It will create practical  incapability to extend the water proofing and shuttering work from this level due to change in drawing.

So, kindly instruct this variation as per actual drawing and section. It is valid variation due to change in approved drawing by SS Lootha to execute the block work and carry on all successive activity as soon as possible and other cost impact will submit later on.

Regards,

For xxx Contracting L.L.C
