TV wires used are RG-6 and R6 – 1 1 coaxial cables, PVC insulated ,PVC sheathed.

EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS:-

1.     Pull wires 30 mts 3.5mm flat

2.      Locally made mandrel test kit

3.       Nylon Rope size 8mm dia

4.      Pull wire of 2mm dia solid steel galvanized wire.

Preparation:-

3M lubricants are used for pulling wires or cables if the character of pull would otherwise damage conductors insulation or jacket

At outlets, a slack of 200mm extra wire is left and at every pull box extra length of 250 mm is left for device terminations

Tagging is done for cables and all wires in pull boxes panel boards, outlet box, as a guide for making connections.

Post pulling the ends of conductors and cables are wrapped with insulation tape, capped and kept in respective device back boxes, panel enclosures and safely protected.
