Subject           : Intimation of variation at toilet ceiling due to ID drawing issued

Dear Sir,

With reference to above, we would like to inform you that the RCP drawing released for the toilets (typical floor) there is change from our original scope as ID replaced 6mmx60mm panel ceiling by gypsum board ceiling and it will be the variation for the contractor. Kindly note the flowing

1. In our original scope as specified for suspended ceiling SC-04 (600x600x15mm thick compressed rockwool fiber, specifications copy attached)
2.  The ID drawing provided for the suspended ceiling in the toilet they change frm 60mmx60mm false ceiling to Gypsum board ceiling. So it will be variation for us.
3. BOQ rate for the SC-04 ceiling is                   AED 110.00 per Sq.m

BOQ rate for SC-01 ceiling is                         AED 100.00 per sq.m

So, cost of the variation per Sq.m is                AED 10.00 per Sq.m and will be multiply for entire toilets area or where ever applicable

• There will be additional variation for operable access panel that will be submitted after approval of shop drawing.

So, kindly find our notice of intimation under clause 53.1 and variation as per claim 51.1 A and C. Furthermore kindly issue the Engineer instruction to execute the variation under clause variation 51.2 for cost and time variation.
