Dear Mr. Neel,

  1. Subcontract Agreement
  2. On Tuesday, 24th September xxxx, the signed Subcontract Agreement was delivered to us.
  3. The Advance Payment Guarantee and Performance Bonds are under process and shall be issued within few days as planned.
  • Procurement Activity
  • On 23rd September, xxxx we received via your email the instruction to proceed with the procurement of the items subject to changes in design (Dewan letter Ref: D17-85 C/MAIN/SO-0193 dated 22nd September xxxx).
  • On 28th September, xxxx we received a new nominated tile supplier. Our team started communicating with this supplier to get the order finalized and the delivery schedule agreed by both parties.
  • The anticipated delivery schedule is as follows:
    • About 10 days for (Contractor Name) to finalize orders and payments to suppliers.  Thereafter…
    • The sanitary-ware is expected within 6-8 weeks
    • The brassware is expected within 8-10 weeks (as these are coming from the UK).
    • The linear drain is expected within 6-8 weeks as its coming from Czech Republic.
    • The tiles delivery schedule is yet to be confirmed by the new supplier (however, since its coming from India, we assume it will take about 6-8 weeks).
    • The lights are expected within 8-10 weeks.
    • The marble is still under discussion, but its expected within 4-8 weeks.
    • The concealed cistern is expected within 6-8 weeks as its coming from Germany.
    • All other items are expected within 4-6 weeks.
  • Start of Production
  • Based on the above, we anticipate the start of production within 10 weeks from today (2 weeks for procurement and payment activities, 8 weeks to secure the material).
  • Delivery Schedule
  • Please let us have your delivery requirements.  Its important to mention the sequence i.e. by types, the number of pods per day, and the last day of delivery.
  • In the meantime, we can book a production capacity of 4 pods per day, from the end of November xxxx until March 2020.
  • Reference Pods
  • We note your request for 2 reference pods types 2 and 3.  We are doing our best to secure the required material so we can start production.
  • It will take (Contractor Name) 15 days to produce the pods from the date of arrival of the material.
  • We will send you a schedule as soon as we hear from our suppliers.
  • Shop Drawings
  • Please let us have the final approval on the submitted drawings.
  • We remind you that the access panel positions are still not final and has to be finalized as fast as possible as it impact the overall ceiling design and MEP services.
