Dear Sir,
With reference to the above, In your letter communication AP/269/CC/252 dt.26.02.17,
we are stating that installation of lights in F & B area is not in our scope of work and kindly note the following:
- During the quotation, our scope of MEP was defined in BOQ page no.2/522 for backup house and guest room only, lighting layout along with the light fixtures details are required to design and select the dimming system for this area.
- Our tender drawing EL04 which indicated lighting layout excluding F & B area and with specific note mentioned “lighting distribution by tenant” which includes conduiting, wiring ,supply and fixing of light to the distribution which is part of the Main Contractor and included in BOQ.
- ID scope is undefined in the tender. So, Main contractor excluded as per available document and in your communication you did not attach our contract document as a reference to support your statement because there is no drawing or design with us in available document for this scope
So, kindly review and provide engineer’s instruction if your required this variation from the main contractor, we will assess the same and do the needful.
