Subject : Reply to your Letter ref. AP/269/CC/298 dtd.03/04/2017, Reason of slow progress for External block work
Dear sir,
With reference to above, regarding external block work and plaster. we would like to inform you that we are here by intimating the following the root cause for slow work progress.
- EXTERNAL BLOCK WORK
- Our project design blocks are not in between the columns on the floor and being fixed from external side only outside of the slab edge, the progress is not being achieved due to working on height and scaffolding required at every stage.
- As we have block in box design with the columnblock being fixed out side of the slab line, we cannot continue the block thought the slab line, there will be risk of overturn or collapsing of walls.
- As we must connect the block wall with the slab to increase the stability of block wall, it leads to stop the block work at every slab level to connect the wall with existing slab by casting additional concrete, because our slab edge is inside the external block line.
- EXTERNAL PLASTER WORK
- We do not have CCTV sub con on board till date and shop drawing and location needs to finalise to show in aluminium shop drawing to make the hole in the glass and fix ht ebracket to hold the CCTV equipment.
- We also need a clearance from client if any External lighting required or not because all MEP requirement needs to be addressed before starting the plaster to avoid any patchwork in the elevation.
So, these are the root cause, that we couldn’t achieve required progress for External block work and plaster, due to technical requirements as mentioned above.
This is for your kind information and record.
at the earliest from your end to avoid any delay.
Regards,
For xxx Contracting L.L.C.
