Subject : Non-Feasibility to produce pod type F.
Dear Sir,
We are writing to you with regards to POD Type F to inform you that it’s not feasible to build this Pod in the factory due to its size and quantity as ill clarify below the constraints:
- Such pod dimension requires a minimum of 120 mm base thickness to avoid breakage of the base during transportation which makes it incompatible with the site condition.
- The increased base thickness and large dimension of the pod lead to an increased weight that exceeds 11 tons. This will require a special platform and crane facilities.
- Also, maneuvering the pod on site due to its large size isn’t practical.
- In addition, the pod is too large to be transported to Oman without risking being extremely damaged on the road.
- The quantity of this pod is only 6 No. which doesn’t make it feasible to produce considering its shape as it require a special mold for it.
Hope that the above clarifies why it’s not feasible to produce Type F as a POD in factory.
