Subject : Free Issue Material- Bathtub quality issues
Dear Sir,
Despite raising our concern previously in several occasions, we have received yesterday 73 No. of Bathtub (1600 x 700) and 87 No. of Bathtub (1700 x 700) with visible defects and quality that does not meet with the industry standard.
With reference to our Sub-Contract agreement, Appendix 2, scope of work, item 2, the bathtubs are a free issue item, selected, inspected, procured and then delivered to our factory by the Main Contractor.
For that, we request you again as previously mentioned in our letter ref: xxx dated xxx, to verify that the delivered bathtubs meet the quality requirement in order not to disrupt the production and delivery cycle of pods.
Please advise whether to use these free issue items or provide us on an urgent basis with replacement units in order not to disrupt the production.
The replacement shall be done by latest 3rd May xxx and xxx shall not be responsible for any consequences that may occur due to Free Issue Materials quality and delay in replacement.
