Subject        : Final Confirmation for the Shower Glass Partition for Finalization of the Contract to submit the variation for cost due to heavy duty SS section

Dear Sir,

With reference to above, we would like to inform you that we have been prepared various samples (4 times) but didn’t get the approval due to many comments including the shaking movement is the main comment and we are informing you the following:

1) There were four (4) samples (attached pages: 11 to 13) was inspected and another one more sample is ready to inspect to which is complying as per the previous comments but still have minimal shaking still there. This sample needs immediate confirmation as we need to finalize the sub-contractor agreement.with extra cost that will be a variation for us.

2) The shower glass partition which fixed is as per ID Drawing with drawing ref. no.  Serendipity Finishes ( Mock Up Guest Room) 2.9 Doors and Hardware Specifications for GL01 Shower Glass door  and not as per tender drawing with ref no.A-584, which have full height (attached pages: 5 -6).

3) As we fixed many samples (attached photos and inspection page 7 -10)) but inspection were rejected because of the lateral stability (shaking). Since as per our drawing is supposed to be fixed until to the false ceiling height could have to support from soffit of the slab with minimum SS channel 20x30mm size.

4) Because the change in the drawing and issue of stability we used to increase the frame size of 50 x50mm square tube and SS heavy duty section and for that the variation will raise due to cost and to be submitted  after getting the approval of the latest mock up sample.

5) There is additional frosted glass piece in between the ledge wall and glass partition that will be a part of the variation (attached page no: 6, drawing).

So, this is for kind information that finalization of the shower glass partition issue which had been checked several times and the submittal of the variation will follow after the approval of the latest mock up sample.
