Dear Sir,
With reference to the above, we would like to inform you that partition work at our above mentioned project is being delayed extremely and issue started Dt. 17-09-2016 and finally drawing approved on Dt 14-01-2017 and the mock up room work is in progress because of other pending issues and nomination of the sub contractor and kindly note the following in reply of your communication ref no:AP/269/CC/237 DT.06.02.17:
- We are attaching the major communication documents arranged in chronological order from pg no 01- 183 along with the summary sheet attached in the last (pg 179-183) is self-explanatory to explain the communication from pg no 01-178 to summarize the scenario and occurrence of the events.
- We are also attaching page no. 1 of 3 of 3 to 3 in reply of your communication wherein you have mentioned that there is no relationship between the contents and attachment in the letter Dt: 16-02-2017 ref: AP/269/CC/245 as well as to explain the entire delay in approval and decision (which was a reply to our variation claim and we are submitting complete document from page no. 01 to 183 to explain the delay in approval).
- The variation submitted for time and cost as per the final concept approved due to the requirement of the employer by exceeding the required dB and involvement of the acoustic consultant after approval of our submission ref: CC/AP/269/MAT/CIV/110 dt: 17-09-2016 on dt.28-09-2016 and resubmitted many times after many meetings and revised approval and we received the revised approval on dt: 14-01-2017 will be assessed and submitted.
- The issue started on 15.08.16 finally closed on 12.01.17 and the partition work could not started because of clearance of shop drawing ,wall thickness, required dB’s and change in material specification and variance in scope.
- We are attaching the details of communication /event attached for partition work at project attached herewith item no.1.
- The details of the communication in chronological order for all the events for gypsum partition work in typical floor attached for your reference from page no:179 to 183 to explain the discussion and communication.
So, we are hereby intimating that our claim for the extension of time for the partition work should be considered from 15.08.16 to 14.01.17 i.e.,152 days and this delay impacted all other successor activities linked with the partition activities at every floor.
Furthermore, the cost variation being assessed due to change in the specification and will be submitted accordingly, the final amount or kindly advise to proceed for the 3rd floor and above and close the issue once for all to avoid any further delay.
