Subject                : Intimation of delay in tile delivery by M/s xxx by 30 days

Dear Sir,

 With ref. to above, the tile delivery from China by M/s xxx supposed to be at site by 1^st July xxx, now we have a formal intimation by mail from Mr. Xu John (Tile supplier) on dt.10.07.16 and that they will be delivering tiles from China on the 31^st July, 2016 and because of this delay in delivery of the material there will be a severe impact in competition date of the project, as we would like to highlight the following,

1. Our tiling for toilets, bathroom and shower has been stopped because of non-delivery of the material by the supplier.
2. As per our agreement the tiles are supposed to be at site on 1^st July, 2016 that will be delivered now on 31^st July, 2016 as per intimation of the supplier, so the delay in the delivery of material is by 30days.
3. Because of the delay in delivery this particular tile area activity which is under hold which will be started after receiving the tiles and we need minimum 30 days to complete this particular activity after receiving the delivery, so our expected early finish would be on 31^st August, 2016.
4. As per the mandatory relationship from finish to start the following successor activities mentioned below, the starting date will be shifted accordingly as per the duration allotted for false ceiling, vanity counters, sanitary fixtures as well as kitchen cabinets and other MEP related works including accessories.

So, we would like to put into your notice that there will be severe impact on the project completion and same has been notified to you at the time of issuing the LPO with our ref no: CC/EM²/MRP004/LMR-020 on page no 2, paragraph no 8 where we clearly notified that additional time to be granted accordingly if there is any delay by the tile supplier.
