Dear Mr. Rene,

We have duly received your monthly certificate No.02 dated xxx and would like to comment as follow,

  1. We have noticed that you have certified 70% of the overall value of the pods delivered. As you know we have completed our scope of work as per the agreed terms on the pods except installation. The installation does not cost xxx more than 1 to 2% of the pod value.
  • In case you would like to keep a certain amount uncertified until the pods are installed, please base such an amount on the actual cost. However, since you are already holding 10% as a retention, and for sake of simplicity, we kindly ask you to certify the full value.
  • We have notified also that you are holding 10% of the overall value for missing items. As you know these missing items are lights, shaver sockets and few shower glass handles which we could not install for reasons beyond our control (Selection of Materials, approvals, lead time and delivery etc.). The value of these items do not exceed AED xxx while you are holding AED xxx. We kindly ask you to reconsider your position in this regard.

By return please relook into the certification and send us the revised certificate as soon as possible.
