2 . INSTALLATION & TERMINATION:
1. On the already installed back boxes in plastered block walls switches are mounted at height of 1250 mm. power, tel. and TV outlets at 450 mm and other outlets in wet areas are mounted at height of 1250 mm or as given in respective ceramic details drawing From finished floor level.
2. Before proceeding to install the outlets devices, the back boxes cleaned, surface around the boxes will be repaired and made flush with the finished wall surfaces using extension rings as needed.
3 . terminating the phase, neutral and earth wires to the internal devices block at respective terminals it is installed and fixed in the back box.
4. Using sprit level and manufacturer provided screws, outlets front plates are fixed parallel and perpendicular to floor and wall surfaces respectively, long machine screws subject to engineers” approval will be used for plate fixing.

Locations: Drawings generally show approximate locations of outlets and
equipment. Exact locations shall be determined from interior finishing
and detail drawings. Any condition that would place an outlet in an
unsuitable location shall be referred to the Engineer switches ,will be at
strike sides of doors ,In location outlets allow for overhead pipes, ducts, variations in arrangements, thickness of finishing, window trim, paneling and other engineering features.
6. Mounting heights for outlet boxes and similar equipment will be uniform within the same or similar areas. 7. Additional Outlets to those shown: on the drawings will be provided as required b\ equipment manufacturers for control or other wiring. This &£ be installed by the Contractor.
8. Recessed Outlet Boxes Make neat openings, to the satisfaction of the
Engineer, allowing for thickness of finishing, and use extension rings if
required. damaged finishing to original condition before
installation of fittings or plates.
9. Appearance: install inspection boxes and plates plumb, square and parallel to finished walls surface. Exposed plates covering recessed boxes rest neatly on wall surface without gaps, and fully covering the box.
10.Grouped Outlets Arrange neatly so that use of fitting is convenient and clear.
11.Weather Proof and Explosion Proof: follow manufacturer’s instructions for installation and connection to conduit system to fully achieved required degree of protection.

3.FIELD QUALITY CONTROL:
1. Visual Inspection: Fittings and equipments and workmanship.
2. megger Tests switch and outlet tests together with
insulation resistance of wiring installations.

3. Operation: Devices will be tested for operation and intended at full load without an sins of heating.
4. Equipment will be insulation tested and observed, under full-load for not less than 3 days operation, with respect to undue heating and performance in general.
4.INSPECTION & TESTING: work will be inspected for correct fixing and workman shop , outlet device are tested for voltages and polarity
5. CLEANING:
Internally clean devices, device outlet boxes, and enclosures.4 Replace stained or improperly painted wall plates or devices.
