Dear Sir,

Further to our letter reference xxx dated 28th July xxx regarding the alleged Slow Progress of Subcontract works – Carpentry and Joinery, please be informed that we have received an instruction from the Client through Mr. xxx to put on hold the works on the areas where we have issues on the gas pipe.

Consequently, this is to put on record that any delays in resolving the issues of the gas pipe will affect our program of works on these areas, thus, any delays on the completion of these areas will not be Xxx (Name of the Subcontractor) Interiors responsibility, and we hereby reserve our rights to claim for extension of time.
