Dear Sir,
Following the Employer response to the claim requesting to submit the actual cost expended for transportation, we are revising our claims for additional cost incurred due to the KSA customs regulations attaching the required supporting documents as per below:
- Attachment I: Breakdown of transportation cost.
In this breakdown, you will find the details related to each delivery such as (trailer size, transport company, invoice no, delivery no, loading date and invoice amount). Also, each delivery and respective actual invoice is compared to the normal cost in case such change in the regulations due to COVID-19 didn’t occur.
- The total actual incurred cost for delivering 177 pods: AED xxx
- The total regular cost for delivering 177 pods was supposed to be: AED xxx
The total additional cost incurred = (1) – (2) = AED xxx
- Attachment II: The quotation of transportation cost prior to the KSA customs regulations and which was the basis of our price (AED xxx) per trip for 12m trailer able to carry 3 pods.
- Attachment III: The actual invoices copies received till date for 177 pods delivered out of 240 pods.
- Attachment IV: The 55 No. of delivery notes related to the 177 pods delivered.
You are kindly requested to approve this claim of additional cost amounting AED xxx (Only xxx Dirhams) for 177 pods. The additional transportation cost related to the other 63 pods delivered will be submitted once we receive the invoices from the transport companies.
