Subject : Rejections of the Nominated Supplier Materials
Dear Sir,
We are writing you concerning the rejections of marble from the Nominated Supplier M/s xxx Marble & Granite LLC which caused a tremendous impact to our completion of works.
We have been requesting the supplier to replace the rejected materials (Emails attached for reference) but as per the letter reference: xxx dated 26 April xxx received from M/s xxx (attached for your reference), the supplier has proposed all his available options and still failed to comply with the Consultant requirement.
At the current stage we are left with two options:
- Either to approve the previously rejected 26 sets, or select among the slabs that were inspected earlier this week from M/s xxx.
- Otherwise, kindly confirm you acceptance to involving new suppliers, and we shall raise for the inspection accordingly noting that the limitation of materials availability in the market must be taken into consideration.
(Contractor Name) shall not be responsible for the delay caused by the failure of a Nominated Supplier under any circumstances. We are looking into other alternatives in the market that could allow us to complete the last 26 pods, which we had to deliver without the marble top due to the above.
Your prompt response is highly appreciated.
Yours faithfully,
On behalf of xxx LLC
