Subject :     Rejection to the allegations of incomplete insulation works

Dear Sir,

We fundamentally object to the content of your letter reference xxx dated 25 January xxx.

Firstly, your allegation that the scope of work of M/s xxx (Contractor Name) is incomplete is false and categorically rejected. All pods delivered have been fully approved and certified.

Secondly, the list which you have attached to your letter referencing alleged missing insulation was never issued to M/s xxx (Contractor Name) to allow us to respond in accordance with the Subcontract Agreement.

Thirdly, M/s xxx (Contractor Name) has never, at any time, given you authorization to undertake work on its behalf.

Fourthly, your attached list does not carry any supporting reference that images are related in any way to the scope of M/s xxx (Contractor Name).

Accordingly, M/s xxx (Contractor Name) will not accept or entertain any cost deduction for any works performed by the Main Contractor or any third party at their own discretion without our express prior approval.

The contents of your letter are rejected, and we remind you that you remain in default of releasing the first part of retention in accordance with the terms of our Subcontract Agreement as notified in our letter ref: xxx dated 17 January xxx which is now overdue for 12 months.
