Dear Sir,

We are in receipt of the Engineer’s letter ref: xxx dated 23 August xxx issued to us on 28 August xxx concerning clogging in drain strainer / protector traps at Hotel toilets.

First, we note that the Engineer is referring to previous discussions on the matter with the Main Contractor of which xxx are not aware.

Second, any clogging or debris observed by the Engineer on site is not under the responsibility of xxx. Our Pods have been produced and delivered based on approved drawings and materials and free of any debris. Pods have been inspected after installation and approved accordingly. 

Lastly, we bring to your attention that all PODS produced by xxx include types of shower linear drains which do not include drain catchers/drain strainers as suggested. Accordingly, our Pods are not subject to such a comment.

Refer to the attached approved linear drain model (Appendix 1) for your reference.
