Dear Mr. Ibrahim,
We are in receipt of your letter reference xxx dated 1st August xxx in response to our letters references xxx dated 8th June xx and xxx dated 8th July xxx regarding the pending works for Levels 80 to 94, where you have referred to the Letter of Award (LOA) issued by the Client to xxx Interiors through letter reference xxx dated 18th December xxx.
Please be informed that we do not dispute the statement by the Client that our contract will be based on matching the approved mock-up apartment which we have done, however, we would like to remind your good self that the statement of the Client on their LOA refers to the items which is part of xxx Interiors scope of works in accordance with the contract documents. Moreover, part of the contract documents is the approved shop drawings and whatever mentioned by others on the approved shop drawings are clearly not part of xxx Interiors scope of works.
Therefore, we are not in a position to revise the shop drawings and we reiterate our position that the items mentioned on our aforementioned letters will be a variation to our contract if you would like us to proceed with the works and all the cost details will be forwarded to you soon.
