Subject : Notice of Claim – Idle Time due to absence of electricity
Dear Sir,
We refer to the Site Report issued on 1st August xxx regarding the coordinated works which is supposed to be carried out by Xxx (Name of the Subcontractor) Interiors on 30th & 31st August xxx (night time, from 5:00 pm to 1:30 am the next day which did not materialize due to the failure of ASCON to provide the power as agreed.
Please be informed that due to this non-provision of electricity, Xxx (Name of the Subcontractor) Interiors instead of making significant progress to the works has suffered delays and losses due to the idle time that our team has encountered. Moreover, aside from the issue of electricity, the issues of unavailable keys for the flats as mentioned in the site report have also affected our progress.
In view of the above, this letter serves as our Notice of Claim for additional cost due to the non- provision of electricity and non-availability of the flat keys at site as coordinated and agreed, all the relevant details will be submitted in due course.
