Dear Sir,
We refer to your email dated 13th January xxx (copy attached) regarding the Mock-up Flat where you have alleged that the works is suffering delay due to Xxx (Name of the Subcontractor) Interiors’ poor follow up, and we refute such statement as Xxx (Name of the Subcontractor) Interiors has been very cooperative with DECC with regards to the project as evidence to this we have done all the submittals required and the mock-up.
Please be informed that the mock-up works delay is not due to Xxx (Name of the Subcontractor) Interiors poor follow up rather it is due to DECC neglect in releasing the Advance Payment despite Xxx (Name of the Subcontractor) Interiors complying to the requirements of submitting all the necessary guarantees.
Moreover, notwithstanding the several reminder letters that we have sent to DECC for the release of the Advance Payment, until date we have not receive the Advance Payment nor any reply from DECC regarding the same, instead we have been accused of causing the delay which we totally reject.
In view of the above, in order for Xxx (Name of the Subcontractor) Interiors to move forward with your request in completing the mock-up flat, we request the immediate release of the Advance Payment. The continuous delay in releasing the same will affect the progress of work in which we cannot be held responsible and liable and we reserve our rights to claim for extension of time of completion.
