1 Ensure all Material Inspection Request are approved.      

2 Check all delivered materials are as per approved Material Approval Request.      

3 Make sure all delivered materials are new and there is no physical damage.      

4 Approved materials stored in well lit, dry areas, off the floor and protected from the elements.      

5 Surface mounted luminaires are installed as per latest approved emergency lighting layout drawings.       6 Luminaires wiring is connected according to manufacturer wiring diagram unless otherwise indicated:       7 Recessed mounted luminaires are installed as per latest approved emergency lighting layout drawings.      

8 Check that the raceways or conduits used for emergency lighting are not used for other systems.      

9 Check Central Battery Panel and Central Monitoring Units are installed based on the latest approved layout drawings and manufacturer recommendation.        

10 Check position and orientation of panels is as per approved general arrangement shown on the approved detailed drawings.        

11 Check appropriate size of bolts/anchors are used to fix central battery panel.        

12 Check that the panels are leveled and plumbed.        

13 Check cable tray or trunking is available to contain all the home runs above the panels.        

14 Check the panels are covered with polythene plastic sheets after the installation is complete.        

15 All testing and commissioning of Emergency Lighting System will be done by the specialist contractor/supplier, as per manufacturer recommendation, under the direct supervision of Al Sabbah.       Observation(s):
