Subject : Free Issue Material‐ Bathtub quality issues
Dear Mr. Chen Haizhang,
We again remind you that as per the Sub-contract Agreement, Appendix 2, scope of work, item 2, the bathtubs are a free issue item, selected, inspected, procured and then delivered to our factory by the Main Contractor.
We have requested in our letter ref: xxx dated xxx to verify that the delivered bathtubs meet the quality requirement in order not to disrupt the production and delivery cycle of pods.
xxx failed to do so and delivered on 26th April xxx 73 No. of bathtubs (1600 x 700) and 87 no. of bathtubs (1700 x 700) with visible defects and quality that doesn’t meet the industry standard. We have raised this matter and it’s criticality in our letter Ref: xxx dated xxx and we have clearly requested that the replacement of the defected bathtubs shall be done by latest 3rd May xxx to avoid disruption in the production.
xxx replaced the bathtubs (1700 x 700) but till date in total 90 pcs of bathtubs (1600 x 700) are rejected and not yet replaced which is causing a disruption in the production.
Xxx is not responsible for the failure of xxx in supplying the FIM materials as per the industry standards and without defects, or xxx failure in replacing it on time. For that any delay that occurs is the sole responsibility of CSCEC who will bear all the consequences.
On behalf of xxx LLC
