Dear Mr. Ibrahim,
With reference to the subject and in response to M/s xxx letter Ref: xxx dated 24th December xxx, herein we would like to express our high interest to comply with M/s xxx instruction and directives, but you are fully aware that we have no control over DCD regulations. The new regulation is related to the door size and we are not the party who constructed the doors openings.
In view of above, the doors in our scope are in full compliance to the DCD old regulations, therefore, we reserve our right to claim any cost and time implications due to changes in the door sizes. Moreover, be informed that the as built situation is not part of the bidding process.
We write to you to clarify our final position in this regard and awaiting your reply for this variation notification. Upon receiving your instruction to proceed, we will forward you the cost implication to amend the doors.
