Dear Sirs,
Further to your letter through email on 1st of April xxx, we would like to draw your attention on the following points:
- Rejected Shop Drawing – the revised shop drawings as per the comments by the Designer will be submitted on 3rd April xxx.
- Mock Up Delay – this was due to material sourcing and material availability, nevertheless, we have received the materials but at a later stage.
- Site Survey – following our site survey, the site was ready to receive our materials. The electrical problem of switch and sockets’ places is the Designer’s responsibility to inspect and update the drawing accordingly before delivering the ID drawing to xxx. (Name of the Subcontractor) will be following the ID drawing where the location should have been marked in the ID itself, which was not the case. Our installation was as per site condition and ID drawing.
- Change in Design – the shop drawing was submitted on 19th of March and we received the approved and commented drawing from the Designer only on 31st of March which is used to modify the mock up units for new inspection.
- Inspection – the next inspection date will be on Wednesday, 9th April xxx. On Sunday, we will deliver the revised mock up and the installation will finish on Tuesday.
- Delivery Schedule – the revised delivery schedule will be submitted very shortly.
- Site Team – once our materials are delivered on site, a professional team will be stationed in the site and will be monitored by the Project Manager for installation and controlling the site until the project is completed.
