Subject            :  Deduction of General Requirements in Kitchen Cabinets & Wardrobes

Dear Sir,

We refer to our contract reference xxx dated 27th May xxx for the Supply and Installation of Kitchen Cabinets & Wardrobes as well as all the amendments thereto (copy attached) and the subsequent receipt of draft payment certificates from your QS for the Reception Lobby & Health Club contract wherein the Kitchen Cabinets & Wardrobes have been included as a Variation Order due to some issues in Damac System & Procedure where Xxx (Name of the Subcontractor) Interiors was not listed as a Subcontractor under ASCON’s contract for the Kitchen Cabinets & Wardrobes.

We would like to draw your attention to the draft certification made by your QS in particular to the Kitchen Cabinets & Wardrobes where we have noticed that the QS deducted the item General Requirements amounting to AED xxx without any contractual basis which is against the terms and conditions of the contract.

Please be informed that the aforementioned deduction of General Requirements on our contract for the Kitchen Cabinets & Wardrobes is not accepted by Xxx (Name of the Subcontractor) Interiors and we totally reject its deduction as it is being baseless, hence, we request you to instruct your QS to reinstate the aforementioned contract amount in his certification.

We trust that this issue will be resolved at the earliest as we have been chasing for our due payments for almost a year now.

This is for your information and necessary action.

Sincerely Yours,

For Xxx (Name of the Subcontractor) Interiors LLC
