Subject                 : Bianco Carrara Marble Inspection Request

Dear Sir,

I’m writing to request for a slab inspection at M/s xxx AL Rokham located in Jabal Ali who are having currently 700 sqm of Bianco Carrara and which (if approved) may be enough to complete this phase 3 of the project.

From our continuous effort to source the required marble that meets the Engineer requirement, we have so far contacted more than 30 different suppliers and none is having the enough quantity to complete the project alone.  Suppliers are generally having a maximum of 200 to 300 sqm only.

We have received the information about this material yesterday and we have requested the supplier to hold the materials for few days for us until we can arrange for an inspection.

I’d like to inform you that we are aware that the procedure is to submit a material submittal and a sample first prior to the inspection request and we have done that with four different suppliers so far but since the process of regular approval may take some time during which we cannot secure the availability of the materials, and due to the criticality of this matter we are requesting to have the inspection first and if the Engineer is satisfied from these slabs and approved them, we will submit the documents required accordingly.

Kindly discuss with the Engineer this request and revert back to us to arrange this inspection at the earliest if possible.
