Balance work  by nominated sub contractor and related issues

Dear Sir,

With reference to above, we would like to inform you that there are several issues are still pending by nominated sub contractor. They still not completed their scope of work and we have  no control on them because they have a direct influence by the employer and kindly note the following:

1. The M/s. xxx have been de-railed and delaying many areas which includes external painting and still they have balance work in the following areas.

a. Front Elevation work still pending and they did not bring the pending glasses and they just close the area by temporary glass as instructed  by the employer and still bull nose work is going on and pressure plate need to fix in elevations 1 , 2 and 4.

b. The revolving door area, door and glasses are not yet fix and we keeping our scaffolding for them to complete their scope and because of the scaffolding we can not complete the outside area remaining works.

c. In GL 25 at elevation 4, now become a serious issue if M/s. Metalu not complete their work except one panel at cradle area and after that we need to complete the painting work and we must remove the cradle to fix the other support to close the full window as well as to fix the floor tile in 14^th floor corridor.

d. The many areas glasses which includes kitchen and basement are still pending as well as sliding door in 2 basements are still pending.

e. They are also adding the delay by demobilizing the site office and their site foreman Mr. Sajith  just manipulating and keeping the surplus material and because of that we are not able to do false  ceiling, grouting and other MEP work after fixing ceiling.

f. The main contractor is continuous paying the rent for the cradle and reminded several times this cost impact but they are not bothered for severe financial impact.

2.  The M/s. xxx

The M/s xxx  is not at all replying our communuication willing to work in their own power and having a direct communication to employer only and still their work is going on as well as they did not fill the fire sealant around the door frame.

3.  M/s xxx / M/s. xxx

a. M/s Makstylo scope reduce because of the fire rated door and their  argument for the variation submitted after the client awarded the scope  to M/s. Destec and de-scope from M/s. Makstylo and M/s. Destec not fix the door

b. M/s. Destec did not start the Floor tile at FF corridor area and it is delaying our wall tile at Service Lift Wall which have directly relationship to shift the pattern from floor to wall.

c. M/s Destec  have the coordination issue from kitchen sub-contractor and the kitchen sub con willing to create the issues verbally by stating that “this is my scope and this is not my scope” and there are multiple changes in the drawing because of the attitude of  M/s. Emirates Kitchen and  poor coordination.

4.  M/s. xxx

The M/s Ponnust did not deployed the required manpower  and we are continuously following up along with the Citymax project team but the sub contractor only giving promises but still works are pending and we are paying the cradle rent.

5. M/s xxx

a. We sent our LPO for the travelling cable on the verbal instruction by Mr. Shailen Verma but we don’t have a variation instruction from your office and it is a serious issue if we do not have the formal approval, we will witdraw our LPO and what ever financial ambiguity the client will be responsible.

b. We are surprise that Lift sub contractor sent a mail for Lift Interior Approval without Sample Board or Specification   and  3D View.  We replied to them to follow th e contract compliance and proper submission thru proper procedure.

c. We can not fix the lift  stone flooring and the fixing of AC grill in the Lift shaft as well as providing the wiring for the connectivity for the FA panel due to non- availability of their representative.

6. M/s. xxx

The M/s. Denolex are not supplying the remaining materials for the various units and it holds the MEP sanitary fixtures installation.

7. M/s xxx

a. The  stone material  for the Lift Door Jamb due to not supplied the material as per approved drawing provided to them.

b. They are not supplying  Window Sill Stones as they are asking the LPO from the employer.

So, we are high lighting with the fact that all sub contractors as we mentioned above are delaying their respective works and we should not be held responsible as the fact highlighted and they are working under the influence of the employer and not following any dead line too.
