Subject: Additional Doors
Dear Sir,
We refer to our letter reference xxx dated 9th December xxx regarding the additional internal doors for the above referred project and to our subsequent conversation regarding the changes in unit rate from AED 1,250 to AED 1,500 per door, please be informed that the changes is due to the current increase in prices of major raw materials being used for the manufacturing of the doors.
We understand that we have signed an agreement with xxx, however, based on the previous rate of AED 1,250 per door, our current operation is at a loss and if the additional villas door will be awarded to us for the same contract rate, we will not be in a position to continue to operate at a loss status. In order for us to be able to accept the additional villas, our revised rate of AED 1,500 shall be taken into consideration by DECC.
