Subject :     Response to Notice of Delay – Failure to Close NCRs

Dear Sir,

We are writing in response to your letter reference: xxx dated 11 November xxx and would like to inform you that we have attended the work required and responded to the NCRs No. 0531 & 0675.

Please note that the NCR 0675 is closed and approved (appendix 1).

Our response to NCR 0531 is currently under review by the Engineer. However, please note that the works which have received NCR 0531 have been completed by (Contractor Name) in accordance with the approved drawings which clearly state that the wire color is red (Appendix 2). Nevertheless, and as a show of good will to the Contractor, (Contractor Name) has replaced the wire with the colors required by the Engineer in the NCR in order to assist you in its closure.

Therefore we consider this subject is closed & (Contractor Name) will not accept any contra charges in this regard.

Should the Engineer revert back with any comment on the NCR 0531, we will address it accordingly.

Our team will continue to be at your disposal to support, and we kindly request you to discuss with us in the future prior sending such notice to allow us to clarify the situation properly.
