Subject : Regarding variation order no:42 submission for shower partition due to change in the tender drawing
Dear Sir,
With reference to above, and our previous communication letter ref no: xxx dated xxx, we are hereby submitting our variation for the approved shower glass partition mock up on dated 22-03-xxx verbally and formal approval awaited from client ID after their inspection at site
We received quotation from 3 nos different subcontractor and approved sample from M/s xxx Glass and Mirror Stores as detailed below from all three and first one is based on original scope as mentioned in herewith “A”
A) Quotation for 2cmx3cm SS U-channel by approved subcontractor AL xxx GLASS AND MIRROR LLC as per original scope of work
Total amount = 165,000 AED
Sample fix not approved due to shaking
B) Quotation for glass partition sample with heavy duty tube 40mmx45mm hollow rectangular tube with cutting a slot for glass (Heavy duty section) to eliminate the shaking

Kindly review our document for our variation claim it is being submitted due to change of drawing and SS heavy section
a) Quotation from xxx glass and mirror stores is AED 206, 850.00 (sample supplied/fix and approved)
b) Quotation from Al xxx glass and mirror LLC is AED 165,000 as described in “A” is bench mark for original scope and variation stratement is 206,850-165,000 = 41,850.00 AED
The additional cost for glass filling between shower partition and ledge wall not included herewith approval issue and type of glass
So, this is for your review and approval or comment
