Subject : Cost over run for preliminaries for document
Dear Sir,
With reference to the above, regarding submission of R7, R9 & R10 program in A1 size and kindly the following:
- Multiple scanning and uploading in box and its cost is already a serious over burden for the contractor because the comments by many terminal as well as repeated submissions/ comments and changes (cost over run).
- In your said communication ,you are instructing us to provide the program in A1 size , please note that:
a)Firstly, it is not a drawing, why it should be submitted in A1 size?
b)Secondly, R7 & R9 are the intermediate program ,which are not being followed or not valid now , which can be used only for the reference. So we can provide the soft copy for client’s reference ,not in A1 size, if required by them they can print the same.
- As per the requirement of Client representative , he force us to provide him the shoes from CAT brand which costed us high. As per his instruction he required, issued soft copy of all ID drawings, some are relevant and some are irrelevant to the contractor . provision of print for all ID drawing to Clients ,which is not in our scope of work,it cost a lot and demand fulfilled with extra cost.
- The set of contract documents , we submitted 03 sets at the time of signing, which includes copy of Consultant, client, and the Contractor and as per the instruction of client representative he has requested one more set to him , the binding and printing costed us an amount of AED 1200.00 for ID and contract document, client suppose to pay for the same.
- The program we can provide you in readable format on A3 which is R10 only . we are not bound to provide in A 1 size , if required kindly provide AED 1000.00 for the same.
Furthermore, we are providing the soft copies of R7, R9 & R10 for the reference and to fulfill requirement.
So, this is for your kind intimation that we are facing a tough time with over run for printing and re printing.
Kindly support, coordinate and request to demand which is reasonable and required, because the program copy in A1 we consider as unreasonable and not required.
