Subject : Impact on project schedule due to nomination issue / material supply and pending decission
Dear Sir ,
With reference to above and in reply of a communication AP/269/CC/282 DT.20.03.17, wherever Engineer reply that contractor will be / would be responsible for the project delay. Kindly note the following issue due to which ,in many areas project work is under hold and request to accept the contractor’s claim to grant the extension of the time because of the following root cause which affect the site progress as listed below:
- Partition work cannot be closed without supply of material , nomination of sub contractor & shop drawing as listed below:
- Cistern tank of WC is concealed item need before closing and we are accepting the supply from the supplier. Due to late supply of the cistern, tiling from the basement to first floor under hold till date and typical floor partition being affected.
- Media hub material which is required before to start the partition work , not supplied till date, partition closing under hold for the media hub area kindly advise .
- ELV sub contractor, media hub as well as guest room management system sub contractor not nominated till date. It is affecting the partition work , Kindly advise .
- Home center shop drawing for fit out work is not submitted , pending till date , Rework will be carried out or we have to hold our work for ply wood support if required , drawing and decision pending to carry out for variation work, kindly advise.
- Wash basin counter sub contractor nomination is pending , shop drawing must be approved by consutant for counter .
Other issues related supply of material and work under hold:
- Toilet tile not supplied till date for typical floor, mock up room toilet delay as well as some other area colour code drawing submitted to highllight the decision.
- Bath tub not supplied till date, mock up room work under hold, kindly advise.
So, this is the status update in continuation to support our statement for delay in nomination / supply by the employer and all the above mentioned items are under reminder since long time .
This is for your kind intimation, record and request to review under clause 44.1 (a), (b) and (d).
