Subject : Regarding to revised the variation for the modification work of the lift entrance door and extra cost involve (BOQ rate for concrete, plaster and shuttering should not be applied)
Dear Sir,
With reference to above, we are hereby inform you that we submitted our variation to modify the lift entrance door area with the BOQ rate as it was adopted the standard practice
Now, we completed the modification and it involve heavy cost due to narrow area modification and small quantity of concrete and congested location for shuttering and plaster as well as it took more time also
So, we are hereby requesting we need extra cost for small area modification and BOQ rate not covering our cost even 50% even for concrete, plaster and shuttering and time taken to modification is three times than normal work
This is for your kind information to increase the cost for shuttering, concrete and plaster 100 % more than BOQ, please time accordingly
