Subject : Regarding nomination for joinery sub-contractor and our concern for fire rating.
Dear Sir,
With reference to above ,we would like to inform you that we have reviewed the nomination documents of doors and would like to intimate the following.
- The doors quantity must be as per final approved drawing to cross check the quantity.
- The firefighting ratings for doors are not as per Civil defense requirement.
- The Detail BOQ of doors is not attached as per door schedule mentioned in final revised drawing. So, the subcontractor should prepare the door matrix as per the final architectural drawing and door schedule available.
- Main contractor intimation dated 05.09.16 with ref no.CC/AP/122/16 is not been taken into account by employer during nomination.
- DCD drawings are attached here for your reference and fire rating.
- Kindly provide the subcontractor final version of architectural drawings of project to avoid any discrepancy in BOQ.
So, we are intimating to look into this matter and instruct sub-contractor to review final drawing as well as DCD approved drawing for required fire rating.
